Bangladesh Navy ship Dhaleshwari arrives at Sri Lankan port on goodwill visit
Sri Lanka Navy, in accordance with naval traditions, welcomed a Bangladesh naval ship arrived at the Port of Colombo on Sunday.
A guided missile corvette of the Bangladesh Navy, BNS Dhaleshwari arrived at the port of Colombo on a four-day goodwill visit on 3rd March, the Navy Media Unit said.
BNS Dhaleshwari is an 81-metre-long vessel with the displacement of 1920 tons, and carries a complement of 183.
During the four-day official visit, the ship’s crew is scheduled to visit some of the famous tourist attractions in the country and take part in several programs including friendly sporting events and cultural events organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.
The ship is scheduled to leave the island on 06th March, on completion of her tour.
