2nd International PACES competition kicks off in Pakistan

opening ceremony of the 2nd International Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System (PACES) competition was held at the Fortress Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan on October 8, local time.

The Chinese military will take part in the competition and compete with 10 foreign teams from countries such as Pakistan, Britain, Sri Lanka and Kuwait on five games including 3.2km running, combat skills test, push-ups, pull-ups and sit-ups.

It is learnt that the Chinese participating team consists of 24 members selected from the PLA 76th Group Army. By participating in the PACES competition, they hope to learn from the advanced training ideas of other foreign militaries, and at the same time strive to achieve great results and showcase the style of Chinese military.
